It's true that your grammar and dialogue s sometimes a little off, like you said, but I really love the story. It's beautifully tragic and a great way to introduce this character. Stories like it have been told many times before, but I think it's the sort of thing that can resonate with someone even if it's familiar. We've all felt that desire to bring back someone we've lost, and when dark magic gets involved, it never fails to be a tearjerker. Good choice of music, too- I've never heard of Rozen Maiden, but I do like the melodies, and they suit your story well.

Your art is simplistic and the animation is very limited, but I think that's the proper kind of art for a prelude or prequel story. The typical "anime" look isn't especially original, but again, it still works anyway, and it looks a lot cleaner and prettier than a LOT of other amateur works. You may not believe this, but I'm actually VERY pleased that you actually drew the mouths properly while in profile. A lot of people - even some professional artists! - have a tendency to just draw them on the cheek, which irritates me to no end.

I look forward to seeing more of this story. "The Grand Witch" is a pretty good setup and I bet that the plot proper will be even better.

thanks for the thorough comment!
glad you enjoyed! :D

I'm not at all familiar with Doctor Strange, but damn! That's one professional-quality opening sequence! Great job! The music, I thought, was a little too simplistic, but it DID have a nice and eerie tone.

I liked the character designs here, which really fit the Fairly Odd Parents art style and are a good interpretation of the TF2 characters. The song was a good parody of the theme song- I liked the "Hats n' Hats n' Hats n' Hats..." part.

The animation overall, however, was a little flat. And the song could have been of better quality; half the time I couldn't make out the lyrics without reading them, and the music was a bit too loud in comparison to the vocals.

Overall, a solid C+. Not bad!

What a great little tribute to the Age of Power! The shot of the kid opening the mailbox was especially poignant.

This brings back memories of William Shatner's famous "Get a Life" skit, and it's just as funny, I'd say! Star Wars fans totally need to get over themselves, and sticking it to them in a tongue-in-cheek manner such as this is the best way to do it.

This is pretty neat, though I'm somewhat ambivalent toward you posting unfinished work.

That's ok, this was the first thing I've ever tried to throw together in flash and it has a few action commands I wanted to test online; again it being my first try I wanted to see if everything worked once it's uploaded as compared to 'testing' in adobe. That said once I finish this will be removed.

All these years, I thought I was alone. I feel so validated...

While there isn't all that much in the way of actual animation in this, the art is really good even when it doesn't move, and you don't even notice! And the narration is delivered by a good voice and well-written. Long live Halloween!

People are looking too much into the politics of this thing, which I guess is what people usually do, but it's still annoying. If this were talking about Obama and Biden instead of Romney and Ryan, the joke would be exactly the same. And it's a damn funny joke, too- this could almost be a real political ad.

I don't

I don't understand

THis is so weird I just

Four stars

Alright, worms! I've got a lot of time to spend, and I don't want it wasted! Now go make something that impresses the hell out of me, and I MIGHT give you 3 stars! Make the best damn thing I've ever seen, and you get 4! What? 5 stars? BWAHAHA! DREAM ON!
