[Bear Bear]

Very Good

I ADORE the great animation here, and the music is phenomenal. Bear Bear is an adorable, tragic character, and the chase scene at the end had my heart pounding.

I do find the story itself to be pretty cliche, though - "a child gets a new toy that turns out to be evil" has been told a lot of times. Also, I could have done without the intertitles from Bear Bear's inner mind - I think the film would work even better if it were completely silent.

That said, you clearly spent a lot of blood, sweat and tears on this, and I commend you on a great job.

[Last Man Standing, part 1]

Nothing Special

There's nothing really interesting about this work. The "last man in the entire world" concept has been done a million times before. The music is nice, but pretty repetitive. The design of the destroyed city is bland and, once again, nothing new. The animation wasn't really BAD, but there was nothing unique about it and some of the effects (especially the window falling over) are very poor.

I'm sure you'll get better with time, and hopefully the second part will improve on this, but there's nothing worth recommending about "Last Man Standing".

Absolutely Fantastic

This is an excellent animation, of professional quality. I find it interesting that you used a typical "amateur at Flash" style (thick, flat lines; dull colors; primarily ordinary geometric shapes) and, through the magic of camera angles and skillful animation, make a flash that manages to look very pretty.

I must say, though, it was a LITTLE too short.

Great animation, passable writing

Alright, now I love the very fluid animation, the vibrant colors, and the inherently funny character designs (anything with large noses is automatically amusing, if you ask me). However, the whole "idiot misunderstands the obvious" comedy plot has been way over done by this point - see: every single episode of Inspector Gadget and Get Smart - and this honestly isn't a particularly funny example of the cliche, either.

I've gotta love the last line, though. "Shit."

This is just a little gag I felt the impulse to animate, I haven't really made anything over 1.5 minutes yet but hope to make some longer, more thought out Flashes soon. Thanks again.

This is far superior to your previous VG Cats animations. The animation is vibrant, colorful and goofy, the voice cast is way better, and you picked a much, much better script to adapt.

Decent

Now, I'll give you this: your animation skills are very good. There's nothing particularly complex that happens here, but just the way the characters move is amusing and nice to look at.

However, the voice acting is... eh. I'm not going to say BAD, but Leo sounds a little stilted, and your mic is low-quality.

Very strange

The acting was sub-par and the plot equal parts genius and impossibly stupid. The animation, however, was pretty nice. It reminded me of the works of John Kricfalusi and other such artists.

Despite the unprofessional presentation (not even a preloader?) and complete lack of sound effects, he animation is just too awesome to not like this. Brilliant job man.
