The animation is nice and it's a good joke, but it'd be much better if it was longer.

This is my first flash animation ever so it took me a little while to get it right, I plan on expanding on it later.

Wow! Great animation! It's very fluid and lively, and the action is exciting as hell. This could stand to be a little longer and maybe have more of a story to it, but as far as pure action goes, you're pretty darn good at it!

What a great little story! I loved this simple animation and the story genuinely made me happy. You actually did a great job as narrator. I wish you well on future projects.

thank you! :)

There are other options for hosting content.

Newgrounds is meant as a place for showcasing your work, not as free file hosting for the mediocre animations you make for friends. There are many other sites that have what you're looking for.

Very clever!

I've only been in a train station a few times, but already I'm all too aware of the annoyances of station marketing. Presenting them as if the station were a war zone is a very funny idea. And I love the animation, although it IS rather blurry- not that it's detrimental to the actual film.

Absolutely Phenomenal

This is among the best submissions I have ever seen on Newgrounds. The entire team has clearly worked their hardest to make this as good as they can, and they succeeded.

The animation is beautiful. Sparker and Aquanna really do look like they're made of fire and water, and they move like they're real creatures. And, of course, they're absolutely adorable. That horrible robot looks fantastic, too; really scary and destructive-looking.

The music by Neil Bly is simplistic, but it suits the quiet and melancholy mood of the film perfectly. You don't need a whole orchestra when a piano and drums will do just fine.

"Alight" clearly took hours and hours and hours of work from its staff, and I congratulate you on finally finishing it. Hopefully, the rest of the NG community will love it as much as I do.

Not appropriate for Newgrounds.

This video is not bad. The effects you added are nice and I rather like it. But the Flash Portal is for uploading flash animations and games, not videos that you made in Sony Vegas. Keep it on YouTube.

TheEatenSushi responds:

Alright thanks. I'm new to the concept of flash, so...

How lovely

I love this little cartoon. The story is surprisingly unique in some respects (despite your claim that it's Troperiffic), and has a very cute art style with great animation. The audio track used, "lea", is indeed essential to the feel of "Ring System"; without it, or even with any other piece used, this would just not have been the same.

LordBojangles responds:

I know, right? Also, thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

Pretty LOL-worthy...

...but is it really suitable for the Flash Portal? I'd suggest just making it a GIF and posting it on the Art Portal. This doesn't really qualify as a movie.

I like it!

The animation is very crisp and colorful, and your improvised reactions are pretty hilarious. Great work!

Alright, worms! I've got a lot of time to spend, and I don't want it wasted! Now go make something that impresses the hell out of me, and I MIGHT give you 3 stars! Make the best damn thing I've ever seen, and you get 4! What? 5 stars? BWAHAHA! DREAM ON!
